Whether its bike or scooter or new roller skates, one of Liv’s favorite pass times is riding up and down the driveway fast. We back the truck up to the end so she knows not to go in the street and she rides all around. It seems under the basketball hoop has become “the store” where she goes shopping for Nemo and Princess snacks, juice boxes, dinner and pickles. I am the lucky recipient of all those things sitting by the walkway. Its great to watch her imagination run wild.
Saturday we headed up to York Beach, Maine to check out the Wild Kingdom. We had heard such great things about the zoo and were super excited to see for ourselves. Liv’s favorite part were the goats, followed closely by feeding the ducks. What a wonderful place I highly recommend going.
Its been a busy week for us so far. Monday we were in Mass visiting with Auntie Diane and Uncle Bruce who were up from GA for a week. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures but I was able to snap one of Liv and Uncle Bruce reading the toy story books she got as a present. (which by the way, go everywhere with her now)
Tuesday we were back in Mass to hang out poolside with Emily, Mike and Andrew. We had a great time relaxing and swimming even though the sun seemed to hide all day long. The Riley’s pool has a diving board and Liv got to jump off it several times, with the help of mommy. We attempted a video, but of course Liv wasn’t interested in jumping once the camera came out. Andrew had a blast watching Liv do all sorts of swimming.
Last Saturday we headed down to Nonno’s pool since it was going to be 100 degrees. Drew was excited he was going to see Liv swim by herself, and Liv was excited to show him all her cool things. We had a great relaxing day poolside.
Slightly out of order, this was from last Thursday. Drew had the day off so we decided to head to the museum to beat in heat in the AC. It has been about 4 months since we’ve been there and it was amazing to see how much Liv has grown and how different she played there.
Here are some video’s from Liv and Daddy’s Sunday. Apparently she is very good at shopping. He took her up to the Christmas Dove in Barrington and the whole second floor is a toy store. She found a Liv size shopping cart and went to town.
